At Botanical Veterinary Care, we are proud to offer you a truly tailored, genuinely caring service and promise excellent value.

Our integrated assessment includes a thorough review of the medical history and how your animal’s condition has been managed so far; reviewing your pre-appointment questionnaire for a holistic view of your cat, dog or horse; a visit to your home for dogs and cats; a thorough physical examination including muscle mass and trigger point assessment; a treatment plan which may include changing what they eat or drink, bodywork, an exercise program, environmental modification, or referral back to your primary care vet for specific investigations or tests; formulation of a bespoke individual herbal medicine; and a written report for you and your primary care veterinary surgeon.

When considering herbal medicines, as each formulation is made up for the individual, there may be a slight variation in cost. However, as a typical guide:

  • Standard tincture (250ml) £30
  • Large tincture (1000ml) £80
  • Teas (100g) £12

These may be collected or delivered via arrangement or posted at additional cost.

Nutritional assessment includes a review of the dietary questionnaire; an online consultation where we get to know you, your pet, and your combined unique needs; and bespoke formulation of a raw or home-cooked diet or advice on which commercially available raw, cooked, or kibble/wet foods are suitable.

Feline behaviour consultation includes a thorough review of the medical history and how your cat’s behaviour and any medical conditions have been managed so far; reviewing your pre-appointment questionnaire for a holistic view of your individual cat; a visit to your home; a thorough physical examination including muscle mass and trigger point assessment; a comprehensive environmental assessment; a treatment plan which may include changing what they eat or drink, bodywork, a play/exercise program, environmental modifications, or referral back to your primary care vet for specific investigations or tests; and a written report for you and your primary care veterinary surgeon.
